Did you know that the definition for Harbor is a body of water where boats may float. A Harbor also is a small spot formed by Mother Nature. Harbor is in lots of places. The Harbor’s are also formed by people dredging the sea floor. Most Harbor’s are by Mother Nature. On the Block Island there are 2 Harbors called Old and New Harbor. This is an area where boats float and dock safely. The Block Island ferry dock in these Harbors Many people fish and swim in these protected areas. In conclusion , Harbors are an important landforms because they keep safe from fough seas.
